The traditional opening concert once again offers a sparkling program with vocal and instrumental excerpts from some of the most beloved operas and operettas such as “Turandot” and “Gianni Schicchi” by Puccini, “Romeo and Juliet” by Gounod, “The Merry Widow” by Franz Lehár as well as famous instrumental pieces by Brahms, Popper and Sarasate.
