Following last season's success, violinist Anton Jablokov, cellist Claude Hauri, and pianist Adam Kuruc return with a new project. For the occasion, they will feature the special participation of bandoneonist Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, revisiting the great tango classics and retracing the history of this fascinating musical genre.

Tango is a crossroads of different musical worlds. Born in Argentina and Uruguay from the cultural fusion of European immigrants, natives of the Rio de la Plata region, and the descendants of African slaves, it tells the stories of men and women who grow up in a working-class urban context. From its popular origins, this artistic expression matured in the final decades of the 19th century as a response to the mood of an era characterized by separations, encounters, travel, hopes, and dreams, later becoming a globally recognized and appreciated genre.
