What is a coping saw and what is it used for?
The coping saw (also called a hole saw) is a small saw with a long, narrow and sharp blade (sometimes double-edged) equipped with a handle that is activated by applying an alternating push and pull movement. It is particularly suitable for making round cuts and drilling or for delicate cuts (in places that are particularly difficult to reach with other types of saws).
