What is the bellows and what is it used for?
A bellows is a tool used to blow air into a fire to fan it or increase its intensity. It usually consists of a flexible bag, often made of leather or a similar material, and a wooden or metal frame. In the forge, the bellows are operated by hand or by the hydraulic power of the mill, to ensure that the fire is constant and hot enough to shape and forge the metal.
