The crucible is a container of various sizes, cylindrical and conical in shape, or similar to a ladle, with a concave bottom and equipped with spouts. It is made of a material resistant to high temperatures (for example graphite), where the metal can be melted and then poured into another container or into a special mold, for the creation of objects of different types.
