Cosa sono le cimette dei toscani?

Le cimette sono le estremità dei sigari toscani che venivano tagliate durante la fabbricazione con le forbici o il trincia sigari. Venivano anch’esse inscatolate e vendute per essere fumate come tabacco da pipa.

Opening days and times:
WED 1.30pm - 5.30pm

SA and SU 10.00 am - 12.00 am and 1.30 pm - 5.30 pm

 

Closed on official holidays of the Canton of Ticino, closed for special events ( click here).

Summer closure from June 30th to September 2nd inclusive.

Winter closure from December 19th to January 14th inclusive.

Entrance tickets:

Entrance to the Museum is free for everyone.

 

Accessibility:

The Museum is equipped with a lift (length 140 cm, door width 90 cm, internal width 110) and an access ramp and is accessible to people with mobility difficulties.

Rates (maximum 25 students/people):

- kindergartens (30 - 45 min.): 130 CHF
- elementary, middle and third cycle schools (1h - 2h): 150 CHF

- groups: 180 CHF
