What is beewax and what is it used for?
Beeswax is a product secreted by the abdominal glands (called wax glands) of the bee and is the substance with which the wax structures that make up the honeycombs are built. The wax flake that the bee produces is translucent white and takes on different shades of yellow and orange depending on the oily substances that dissolve in the wax, contained in the pollen collected by the bees.
