How has agriculture changed over time?

Since ancient times, innovations in crops have progressed in parallel with the development of agricultural techniques, leading to the creation of tools such as the hoe, spade and plow thanks to the evolution of iron craftsmanship. In addition, practices such as crop rotation and the use of manure to improve soil fertility and crop yields emerged. Grassy areas, originally used as woodland pastures, were transformed into meadows for haymaking and livestock farming.
Since the 1700s, with the advancement of scientific disciplines such as engineering, mathematics and chemistry, agriculture has undergone a significant transformation. The introduction of more advanced agricultural machinery and equipment has greatly improved efficiency and productivity in the agricultural sector.
