What is sowing?
Sowing is an agricultural operation that consists of scattering seeds into previously prepared soil, either manually or using special machines. This phase of the agricultural process is crucial, as it determines the beginning of the growth cycle of plants. During sowing, seeds are distributed evenly over the surface of the soil or inserted at a specific depth, depending on the type of crop and the optimal conditions for germination. Sowing occurs at specific times of the year, varying according to the climate and type of crops. In temperate regions, it occurs mainly in spring and autumn, while in cold regions it occurs mainly in spring and in warm regions mainly in autumn.
