The silkworm butterfly, yellowish white in color, has a head (with antennae and faceted eyes), a thorax (with three pairs of legs) and an abdomen. It is 22-25 millimeters long and has four wings, the span of which measures 1-4 cm in the male, 5-5.5 cm in the female.
