What does the flax plant look like?
The flax plant is characterized by a fairly fragile erect stem, 30 to 60 cm tall, from which branches emerge. The root is single, unbranched and up to 30 cm long. Its flowers are generally blue (there are also varieties with white petals) and quite large, while its fruit appears as a capsule containing small brown or yellow seeds depending on the variety.
