The comb is a tool of various sizes equipped with iron or wooden teeth fixed on a support (handle or crosspiece). The comb allowed the separation of the flax stems from the capsules, and therefore the recovery of the flax seeds to be used for the production of oil and flour or to be stored for sowing the following year.
