What made rabbit farming accessible to everyone?
In addition to being particularly prolific, the rabbit does not require large spaces or particular infrastructures. A lawn, a vegetable garden, a garden or even just a terrace would have been enough. Less expensive in terms of care than many other domestic animals, the rabbit is also an undemanding herbivore, to which various forages could be easily administered, even poor quality but above all easy to find, including herbs growing along hedges and in the fields, the leaves of various vegetables and even food scraps.
