The saw set pliers is a special clamp that allows you to give the teeth of the saw blade the correct spacing (allicciatura). The teeth of the blade, in fact, are spread apart (one faces right, the next one faces left, the next one faces right again, and so on) so that the blade does not get stuck in the wood during cutting operations.
The saw set pliers can be adjusted to define the degree of inclination of the teeth of the blade.
