What are the spino and the lyre and what is their use?
The spino (or curd breaker) is a tool used in the cheesemaking process to break up the curd. It is generally made of a rod (of wood or metal) with several orthogonally arranged points, or obtained from the top of a debarked fir tree (including branches).
The lyre (also called guitar) is an instrument with a similar function generally composed of a handle on which a rectangular structure is fixed that keeps several metal wires under tension.
